pupil log-in

The Pictopus gallery and the Activities are directly accessible to children via a pupil log in.

You have access to the Pictopus gallery and the Activities when logged in as a registered ictopus member but you may wish to make them available to your pupils in a way that does not give them access to your personal setup details and all the ‘teacher’ resources such as the SGP magazine and the lessons2go. To do this you will need to create a separate username and password for the children. If you log into the website as normal and click the ’my details’ button you will see a table showing all the information you entered when you first registered. Toward the bottom of this is a section that explains about the pupil login and invites you to enter an Pupil Username and Pupil Password. As this is the information you will be giving to your pupils we suggest you use something relevant and easy for them to remember. They will be able to log in to the activities, using this username and password, from any computer.

Once this is set up you can allow the children access to the Pictopus gallery or Activities by clicking on the icon on the ictopus home page and then logging in using the pupil username and password that you created. Alternatively they can access them directly at:

All the images in the gallery are covered under the Creative Commons licence so you and the children can use them freely in your work without having to worry about issues of copyright.
